I review a film about a teenage lesbian girl who gets sent to a Christian conversion therapy camp. It is provocative and life-affirming in equal measure, and is ushering in a new wave of popular indie cinema which gives an authentic voice to sexual minorities and allows them to be seen and heard in front of a more global audience.
